This model was the last creation of Geoff Sear, who sadly died in August 2011 in South Africa. He had begun making the pattern, to be the next Sear Models in his range. However, on his passing, the half finished bodyshell was given by his widow to a lifelong friend, who kindly loaned it to David for completion and casting. The intention was to finish the model in the style of Sear Models, thus creating a lasting memento of Geoff's work. The final completion of the pattern, the subsequent production of a small number of castings, together with creation of the parts to complete the model, were undertaken by Barry Smith of BTS Mouldings.
This model was in British Racing Green with beige interior, Carnival Red with beige interior, or Riviera Blue with navy interior, and was made with either disc or wire wheels.
All Geoff's models were handbuilt, and this was no exception.
A very limited number of fully finished examples were originally made, but are now no longer available.
